Executive Team Elected To Lead Organization

At its recent annual meetings, The First Tee of Omaha board of directors elected a new executive team.  Curt Knapp, Chief Operating Officer for Warren Distribution, was elected President, replacing Carl Bartholomew, Vice President of First Westroads Bank, who served as President for a full 2-year term.  Joining Curt on the executive team as Vice President is Steve Hogan II, Associate Attorney with Fraser Stryker PC  and son of the chapter’s founding father, Steve Hogan, Nebraska’s first African-American PGA professional.  Also, Adam Cockerill, Shareholder at Koley Jessen, was elected Secretary and Jerry Pont, Owner of Execu-Suites of Omaha, was elected Treasurer.

Driving Forward In Omaha

Under the theme “Looking Back….Driving Forward,” over 1000 people gathered in Orlando from across the entire The First Tee chapter network.  Those attending this year’s event from Omaha included: Ryan Guthridge-Program Director, Carl Bartholomew-Board Chair, and Joel Kock-Executive Director.  The First Tee chapter offices carry out the organization’s mission of positively impacting youth in their respective service areas.

In 2016, Curt Knapp, Stephanie Brunt-Howard and Michael Green were all selected to join the board of directors, which oversees the youth development programming offered through The First Tee of Omaha and the Hogan’s Junior Golf Heroes Foundation.  Please join us in welcoming our new board members to the team!
